This star-studded, official Pavarotti Memorial Concert was filmed live at the stunning ancient city of Petra, Jordan. Decca is proud to have released this very special tribute to legendary tenor Luciano Pavarotti. The concert from Petra, Jordan, was recorded on 12 October 2008, which would have been the tenor's birthday. With the participation of pop, opera and classical stars, the concert highlights every aspect of Pavarotti's varied career. The fabulous guest line-up includes performances and tributes from Andrea Bocelli, Sting, Plácido Domingo, Angela Gheorghiu, Zucchero, José Carreras and Jovanotti, with the Prague Philharmonia conducted by Eugene Kohn.
