As equilibrium settles into the market of traditional 35 mm exhibition, in 2007 a new «subversive» technology of digital projection is gaining force in Russia. Digital screens are spreading swiftly: by the end of 2007 the country numbered 31 digital screens (DLP Cinema™) in 27 movie theaters (2% of the total number of modern screens in the Russian Federation).
